ASTROCAMP 2008 - Summary report

Volunteer GATE parents and the RUSD GATE coordinator worked together to organize this exciting activity for kids.
206 kids -4th & 5th grade GATE & non-GATE students-, 29 chaperones and 2 Elementary School Principals were part of a weekend Science Program in the San Jacinto Mountains.
This outdoor science program provided classes in light and lasers, rocketry, atmosphere & gases, gravity, electricity & magnetism, and a observational astronomy evening program, among many others.
